Is a BM Number a real phone number or SIM?

No. A BM Number is a collectible NFT communication identity on TON. It is not a SIM, eSIM, disposable SMS number or guaranteed carrier telephone service.

Can a BM Number replace a Telegram login number?

No. BM Numbers work inside the BM Numbers ecosystem and do not replace Telegram or Fragment login numbers.

What does the NFT owner control?

The connected wallet proves ownership of the NFT identity and can use supported BM Numbers features such as its public profile, messaging and staking utility.

What Is an NFT Communication Number on TON?

Short answer: it is an on-chain NFT identity built around a memorable number. It is not a SIM card, an SMS rental service or a replacement for a Telegram login number.

What it does not promise

A BM Number does not currently guarantee a local carrier number, incoming SMS, OTP verification, emergency calling or worldwide telephone coverage. Calling infrastructure is a separate, gated product direction and will only be described as live after it passes production activation checks.

How ownership and privacy fit together

TON provides the public ownership layer. BM Numbers uses that proof to unlock product actions, while public pages are designed around the NFT number rather than a person’s private Telegram account. Wallet addresses, private messages and personal relationships are not published as profile content.

How this differs from Fragment numbers

Fragment anonymous numbers are associated with Telegram account access. BM Numbers is a separate NFT collection and utility ecosystem. Similar number-shaped artwork does not make the products interchangeable.
